How to invite new users to Talent using an Enrollment URL for Learning Paths (Admin)

As an Admin, you can invite users who have not yet created their Talent account using a Enrollment URL Link. This link grants users the option to create a Talent account in order to gain immediate enrollment to a Learning Path module or course.

  1. To do so, navigate to your Learning Paths page.
     
  2. Go to 'Modules Management.'
     
  3. Then select either 'Modules' or 'Courses' from the far, left-side panel, depending on whether or not you are attempting to enroll new accounts into a module or a course.

  4. Next, find the specific module or course you would like to enroll a new user into and click 'View.'

  5. On the next page, enter the 'Edit' view of the module/course. 
     
  6. Then click the 'Settings' tab. 
     
  7. Scroll down to the 'Module Enrollment URL' option (if you are in a module) or the 'Course Enrollment URL' option (if you are in a course). 
     
  8. Click on the 'Copy icon' to automatically save the link to your Clipboard.

Following this unique link for a module/course will route the a new user to either create an account or - if they already have an account - log in and automatically enroll into that module/course. 

For existing accounts, the link will direct them to the first page of the module (for a course, the first page of the first module within the course). New users will be prompted to create an account and will be enrolled and directed to the module's first page upon completing the account setup. 

NOTE:  Each user account created via the Enrollment URL Link counts towards the system's purchased licenses. Administrators receive daily updates on new users and additional invoices if the license limit is exceeded.
