How to share a report in Report Builder
In TORSH Talent, you can share reports that you own or have authored in your account with specific individuals in the user group(s) that you are in! To share a report, you can do so either directly within the report's webpage, or you can share from the Saved Report tab in Report Builder.

Shared Report Data Permissions
As an author of a shared report, you have access to all of the data originally assembled in your report based on your User Role's reporting permissions. If you authored and shared out a custom report, then only you can modify the report's sorting, filtering, and column display for other users who have been shared the report after you save it.
As a user who has been shared with, you have access to all of the data assembled in the shared report based on your User Role's reporting permissions. If you have been shared a report, you can modify the report's sorting, filtering, and column display for your view and your view only. You cannot save any changes you make to the report that has been shared with you.
NOTE: While all User Roles have access to the Report Builder tool, they will not have access to the same set of data. For example, a Coach who opens a shared report created by an Admin, will only see the data associated with the group(s) they are a part of. A Mentee who opens a shared report will only see data associated with just their account.
Sharing Within a Report Webpage
If you would like to share your own report while you have it open, click the ‘Share’ button found in the top, right-hand corner.
A new window will appear, wherein you can name your report, give it a brief description, and then designate the overall data type you are using. Upon clicking ‘Save,’ a new pop-up window will appear.
In the Share pop-up modal, enter the name of the specific user you would like to share the report with and then click ‘Share & Notify’ to share the report. The user with whom you shared it with will now be able to find it on their Report Builder page under ‘Shared Reports.’
Sharing from the Saved Reports Tab
If you have already created a report, you can find it on the Report Builder Hub page under 'Saved Reports.' To share your report, find your report and click the 'Actions icon' on the far right end of the list. A dropdown will appear. Click ‘Share.'
In the Share pop-up modal, enter the name of the user you would like to share the report with and then click ‘Share & Notify’ to share the report. The user with whom you shared it with will now be able to find it on their Report Builder page under ‘Shared Reports.’
Opening and Sharing a Shared Report
If you have been shared a report, you can find it on the Report Builder Hub page under the 'Shared Reports' tab. If you would like to share the report with others, first click on the report to run it.

After the report generates, look to the top, right-hand corner and select 'Share.' This will open the Share pop-up modal.

In the Share pop-up modal, enter the name of the user you would like to share the report with and then click ‘Share & Notify’ to share the report. The user with whom you shared it with will now be able to find it on their Report Builder page under ‘Shared Reports.’
