How to use Comment Tags

System Admins can create Comment Tags that will auto-suggest in a dropdown list when users add a hashtag '#' in the comment box of a video. Comment tags are a great way to tag a specific moment as an observed behavior, an area of praise, improvement, etc.

NOTE: Comment Tags differ from Rubric Tags, which are specific to areas of growth and goals related to specific rubric templates.

Adding Comment Tags to Videos

Once comment tags are created by an Admin, users can start tagging in any comment box by typing a hashtag '#' and selecting from the list of available options.

Filtering Comment Tags in Videos

Once you add a comment tag to a video, you can then click on the tag within the comment feed to filter the results to only see comments made with that specific tag. Click on the tag again to clear the filter.

Filtering Comment Tags on the Videos & Files Page

If you want to search all of the videos you have access to for a specific comment tag, click on the 'magnifying glass' from the top navigation bar.

Select 'Videos & Files' from the search drop-down.

Next, type in the comment tag and click 'Enter' on your keyboard to initiate the search.

Finally, filter your results by clicking 'Found in: All,' and selecting 'Comment Tags' from the drop-down menu. This will then display all of the videos you have access to that have this comment tag posted to it.
