Wide Angle Lenses
Wide Angle Lenses allow you to capture a larger view of the space you are recording in. For whole classroom video capture, a wide angle lens can ensure that the entire room is included in the recording.

Microphones
External microphones give you the ability to capture higher quality audio on your video recordings. Mobile devices are not designed for the best possible audio recording quality. Therefore, it is best practice to use an external microphone when recording video on your smartphone or tablet.
Plug-in microphones will work well in normal-sized classrooms, and they should be aimed in the direction of the subject being videod. In the case that the subject is very far from the microphone, or if there is a lot of noise in or directly outside of the room, a bluetooth/wireless lapel mic would be more effective.
